Marutaro

A dog coming from Shiba Inu breed, smallest of the six original and distinct spitz breeds hailing from Tokyo, Japan. This account was started in 2011 by his owner Shinjiro Ono originally started his Instagram to cheer people up following the earthquake and tsunami that devastated the country and is now world famous. Since then the pair hasn’t looked back and Maru continues to lift the spirits of millions online. Also, this dog looks like the one which has made one of the internet’s famous memes. There is something so beautiful about this dog’s smile; it reaches to its eyes making it so genuine.

Marnie the Dog

A 17-year-old female Shih Tzu senior rescue dog adopted and owned by Shirley Braha. She is especially famous for her permanent head tilt to the left which is because of brief case of a vestibular disease. Marnie was a street dog and had many health issues because of poor conditions in which she lived. At the time of adopting her, Shirley did not hope for her to live for more than a couple of weeks. But gradually her health improved and it is when, in 2014, her owner decided to make an Instagram account @marniethedog dedicated to her. Loki the Wolfdog

Owned by Kelly Lund, he is a low content wolfdog. Loki is a husky/arctic wolf/malamute mix. In Kelly’s family, dog ownership has been taken very seriously so he had his share of experience with large dogs. He got Loki in 2012 and with him; he got all that he looks for in a dog. He got the right companion. Both of them travel to adventurous places and posts the images on the Instagram. Kelly quit his 30-year-old job, just to become a full-time social media manager of his dog. This profession has made both of them a celebrity.

Doug the Pug

He is the cutest pug you will ever see. He has made it to many music videos and has been featured in many articles by famous magazines. His Instagram bio reads, “King of Pop Culture”, which is also the name of the book published on him. He is very good in front of the camera and gives different expressions in different pictures. Owned by Leslie Mosier, this dog has made it very successfully to Hollywood with the celebrities and secured a special place among them. In short, this pug is living the life we all keep dreaming of. This dog isn’t just cute; he has a swag of his own. I have been stalking this account and there is no end to it. Just no end! Agador and Fred (both crossbreed poodles) are taking over the streets of NYC like some pros. Agador is owned by Allan Monteron and his partner runs the account of Fred. Every picture they post is of very good quality and the way they are dressed looks like an advertisement of products. Wherever they go, the public follows them with a camera. They are the latest tourist attraction in the New York City. With 128.8k followers as of now, there is no stopping this pooch. He will soon take over the world.
